What the job involves

We work on the water side of your heating — radiators, valves, thermostats, TMVs, pumps, cylinders and pipework, plus air source heat pumps. Anything involving the gas appliance itself goes to a Gas Safe registered engineer, and we will tell you that straight away rather than sending someone who cannot legally do the job.

    Work out which side the fault is on

    Water side or gas appliance. If it is the appliance, we say so and you get a Gas Safe registered engineer, not a bill from us.

    Diagnose the wet side properly

    Pressure, flow, valves, pump and controls. Cold radiators have several causes and only one is sludge.

  3. 03

    Repair or replace, with the reason

    We tell you what has failed and why, so you can decide between a repair and a replacement.
